A group will be volunteering at the Lambswear warehouse in Lawrence on the first Sunday of every month from 1-3pm. It is not required to register but it is helpful to know how many are coming and if anyone needs orientation. Lambswear collects gently used clothing, shoes, outerwear and new socks and new underwear from newborn sizes all the way up to size 16-18 and redistributes the items to families in need. Volunteering could involve sorting clothes from donations into the appropriate size/gender bins, switching out seasonal items, filling orders from families in need, or other tasks needed in similar areas. Volunteering at Lambswear is very rewarding and a cup-filling experience.
